Alan Pitt, MD is a Professor at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix Arizona, the country’s largest center of excellence for the neurosciences. Over the past 15 years, Dr. Pitt has been an advisor to large healthcare systems and state government. He has functioned as founder, advisor, board member, or executive for several small and large companies in the health IT and device spaces and has successfully exited 2 companies. He has 3 patents (1 in health IT, 2 in device), and has been a national speaker on issues related to cloud-based computing and healthcare. Dr. Pitt is an Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University and the University of Arizona School of Public Health.
